SWEResume Terms of Service

Agreement

By using SWEResume, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.

Payments and credits

• Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card details.
• Credits are consumed when generating resumes.
• Credits purchased separately as a one-time top-up do not expire and are not reset when subscription credits renew or expire.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis, except as set out under "Human resume reviews" below.

Subscriptions

• If you purchase a subscription, you authorize recurring billing through Stripe until you cancel.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout unless canceled before renewal.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Stripe customer portal or any other method we make available.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise required by law.
• Subscription credits reset for each billing cycle and may expire at the end of that billing cycle.
• We may change subscription pricing or plan features in the future. Any changes will apply prospectively as permitted by law.
• Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused time, or unused credits.
• If your payment method fails or your subscription is canceled, suspended, or terminated, access to subscription benefits may be limited or ended.
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or government charges associated with your subscription.

Human resume reviews

• A human resume review is a service performed by a reviewer. It consists of written feedback and a reviewed version of the one resume you submit. Each review covers one resume.
• Turnaround. We aim to deliver each review within 48 hours of receiving your resume. This is a target, not a guarantee: delivery can take longer at busy times, on weekends, or on holidays.
• Before delivery. You may cancel a review at any time before it has been delivered, including because it is taking longer than 48 hours. For a review bought as a one-time purchase, we refund that purchase in full. For a review included in a monthly plan, we return the review to your plan for the current billing period.
• After delivery. Once a review has been delivered, the service has been performed and the purchase is non-refundable, except where required by law. If a delivered review contains a clear error, such as addressing the wrong resume, tell us within 7 days and we will correct it.
• Unused one-time reviews. A one-time review that you have not used does not expire. You may request a refund of an unused one-time review within 14 days of purchase.
• Monthly plans. Reviews included in a monthly plan reset each billing cycle. Unused reviews do not roll over and are not refunded, and the Subscriptions terms above apply.
• No guaranteed outcome. A review is advice on how your experience is presented. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or any hiring outcome, and the absence of such an outcome is not grounds for a refund.
• Your resume, your claims. Suggested wording is a suggestion. You are responsible for making sure everything on your resume is accurate before you use it.
• We may decline a review, for example where the file is not a resume, cannot be read, or the request is abusive. If we decline a review, we refund it in full or return it to your plan.
• To cancel a review or request a refund, email greg@sweresume.app from the email address on your account.

User content

• You own your uploaded and generated resume content.
• You grant us a limited license to process and display it to provide the service.
• No illegal, infringing, or harmful content; no abuse of the service.

Acceptable use

• No attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the service.
• No unauthorized access to other users' data.

Services and availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. Features may change.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability to amounts you paid for the service in the last 3 months.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable U.S. law; disputes will be resolved in applicable U.S. courts.
